تفاصيل التقرير	An Egyptian German joint venture is set to sign soon a Euro 40 million + L.E. 28 million contract to execute phase 2 of a wind energy recovery farm in Zaafarana on the Red Sea adding 48 MW capacity to the country unified power grid. Eng. Hosni El Kholi, NREA Chairman, said that upon completion of that phase & other previous phases, Egypt would have a total design capacity to produce such clean energy of 143 MW. Government plans target to increase thé figure to 600 MW by year 2010. Eng. El Kholi said wind speed at Zaafarana & other Red Sea areas reach 10 meters all over the year.
